Manufacturing Methods : 4-Methyl-2-nitrobenzenamine diazotization, and 3-Oxo-N-phenylbutanamide coupling.
Properties and Applications:brilliant yellow. Light yellow powder. Bright color, good dyeing force, high melting point is 256 ℃. Slightly soluble in ethanol, acetone and benzene. In concentrated sulfuric acid to golden yellow, yellow precipitation after dilution, In concentrated hydrochloric acid for red solution; In concentrated nitric acid and dilute sodium hydroxide solution which is constant. Heat and light fastness is good, acid and alkali resistance is poor, do not suffer the effect of hydrogen sulfide. Mainly used for coating and senior lightfastness ink, printing ink, plastic products, rubber and cultural and educational supplies coloring, also used for pigment printing and viscose of protoplasm coloring.
