Manufacturing Methods :(a) prepared C.I.Vat Violet 10 (C.I. 60000) in 1-Nitrobenzene chloride in; (b) 7H-benzo[de]anthracen-7-one with alkali treatment.

Properties and Applications:brilliant blue purple. Soluble in benzene, slightly soluble in Chloroform, 2 – Chlorophenol, Nitrobenzene, Azabenzene, 1, 2, 3, 4 – Tetrahydronaphthalene, toluene, Xylene, not soluble in acetone, ethanol. In concentrated sulfuric acid for green, purple precipitation after dilution, In the basic insurance powder solution for blue; In the acidic insurance powder solution for red light purple. With C.I.Vat Violet 1 the same chemical structure.
