Manufacturing Methods : (a) 3-(Diethylamino)phenol and Phthalic anhydride condensation, alkali fusion, with sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid acid soluble crystallization, then use silicon molybdenum acid lake change; (b) 2-(3,6-Dichloro-9H-xanthen-9-yl)benzoic acid and Diethylamine in pressure reaction (BP 960088), then use silicon molybdenum acid lake change.

Properties and Applications:brilliant red light purple. With C.I.Basic Violet 10 and chemical structure the same (silicon molybdenum acid salt).
