Manufacturing Methods :(a) : 3-(Diethylamino)phenol and Phthalic anhydride condensation, alkali fusion, with sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid acid soluble crystallization, then use phosphorus molybdenum acid lake change; (b) :2-(3,6-Dichloro-9H-xanthen-9-yl)benzoic acid and Diethylamine in pressure reaction (BP 960088), then use phosphorus molybdenum acid lake change.
Properties and Applications:brilliant red light purple. Soluble in water and ethanol with strong fluorescent light red solution, soluble in Cellosole, slightly soluble in acetone. In concentrated sulfuric acid for yellow brown, have strong green fluorescent, diluted by large red into blue light red, and then into orange; In concentrated nitric acid to golden brown. Dye aqueous sodium hydroxide to rose red, after heating villous precipitation. With C.I.Basic Violet 10 and chemical structure the same (phosphorus molybdenum acid salt).
