Manufacturing Methods : (a) will C.I.Vat Red 14 (C.I. 71110) and ethanol and potassium hydroxide heating, product filter, and then hydrolyzed; (b) will C.I.Vat Red 14 (C.I. 71110) sulfate. Also can see C.I.Vat Red 15(C.I.71100) preparation.
Properties and Applications:range. Orange powder. Slightly soluble in 2 – Chlorophenol, Azabenzene, not soluble in Acetone, ethanol, Chloroform, toluene. In concentrated sulfuric acid to dark red light yellow, In the insurance powder alkaline solution for olive, have red fluorescence; In the insurance powder acid solution for red light brown. Resistance to esters, ethanol, kerosene, dimethyl benzene, such as the performance of the solvent are 4 ~ 5 grades. Water resistant and Linoleic acid resistance of fastness for level 5. Mainly used in coating, printing ink and polyolefin color. With C.I.Vat Orange 7 the same chemical structure.
