Manufacturing Methods :(a)1-(2-Methyl-9,10-dioxoanthracene-1-yl)-2-methylanthracene-9,10-dione in 350 ~ 380 ℃ heating alone, or in low temperatures with dehydrant processing, to take off two Moore water; (b), 1-(2-Methyl-9,10-dioxoanthracene-1-yl)-2-methylanthracene-9,10-dione aqueous paste content (with or without ammonia or salt are), in 230 ~ 250 ℃ and pressure heating 10 to 12 hours; (c), 1-(2-Methyl-9,10-dioxoanthracene-1-yl)-2-methylanthracene-9,10-dione and ethanol/potassium hydroxide heating; (d)1,6-Dibenzoylpyrene with Aluminium chloride and Sodium chloride molten, and pass into oxygen.

Properties and Applications:yellow orange. Soluble in 1, 2, 3, 4 – Tetrahydronaphthalene, xylene, slightly soluble in alcohol. In concentrated sulfuric acid for SAP green, yellow brown after dilution precipitation; In the basic insurance powder solution for blue light red; In the acidic insurance powder solution for orange. And the same C.I.Vat Orange 9 and chemical structure.
