Properties and Applications:blue. White or light yellow crystalline powder, melting point 216 ~ 222 ℃. Maximum absorption 368 nm, maximum fluorescence reflection 436 nm. Insoluble in water, soluble in Tetrachloroethylene, N, N – Dimethylformamide. Used for cellulose acetate, acrylic, polyester fiber and three vinegar of protoplasm whitening. Also used in all kinds of plastic. Some varieties contain calcium salt as dispersing agent or contains softening agent. Insoluble in general solvent and water.
