Properties and Applications: blue light red. Soluble in water for orange, slightly soluble in ethanol, acetone and Cellosole, insoluble in other organic solvent. In concentrated sulfuric acid for yellow red, dilution have orange precipitation; In concentrated nitric acid for orange solution; In 10% sodium hydroxide solution for orange. Dye aqueous solution to join 10% sodium hydroxide solution for yellow. With C.I.Mordant Red 9 chemical structure of the same(barium salt).
