Manufacturing Methods : 4-Chloro-2-methylbenzenamine diazotization, and N-(4-chloro-2-methylphenyl)-3-hydroxy-2-naphthamide coupling.
Properties and Applications:red, shallow blue light pink. Red powder, melting point 285 ℃ (by toluene get crystal). In concentrated sulfuric acid for magenta, dilution after scarlet precipitation; In concentrated nitric acid for yellow solution; In the sodium hydroxide solution does not change color. Fast fastness 7 ~ 8 level, water resistant level 5, acid and alkali resistant 4 ~ level, solvent resistance is poor. Mainly used in coating, printing ink, viscose of protoplasm coloring, also used for paper and cosmetics coloring.
